On December 6, 2022, a mini-sculpture was unveiled in Poltava on the initiative of Poltava OVA to the 300th anniversary of the birth of Hryhoriy Skovoroda, a native of Poltava region.
Hryhoriy Skovoroda - a Ukrainian philosopher, theologian, poet, teacher - had a huge spiritual influence on both contemporaries and future generations with his philosophical observations, songs, fables, short stories and other surprisingly deep texts.
A monument to the outstanding Ukrainian philosopher will be erected in a year at the place where the mini-sculpture of H. Skovoroda was unveiled. In addition, a special redemption of the stamp and envelope dedicated to the glorious anniversary was made.
Authors of the monument: sculptor Katib Safar-ogly Mamedov, architect active member of UAA, honored architect of Ukraine Serhii Chechelnytskyi.
Dmytro Lunin, head of the Poltava OVA, and Oleksandr Mamai, head of the Poltava community, were present at the opening.
