At the Center for Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, a unique operation was performed — saving a newborn within the first hour of life.
The surgery was carried out by world-renowned cardiac surgeon Illia Yemets, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honored Doctor of Ukraine, and Honorary Member of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture. Even in wartime conditions, Illia Yemets and his team continue to perform the most complex surgeries, which only a few clinics in the world are capable of. That is why Yemets' Center is not only a source of pride for Ukrainian medicine but for the entire nation.
