On February 8, 2023, a meeting was held between the corresponding member of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture, Volodymyr Bykov, and the management of the Krasnotrostyanets Forest Research Station in the city of Trostyanets. The research station in the picturesque Neskuchne Arboretum is a unique building of the past.
During the meeting, the issue of restoration of the architectural monument of national importance "House of the estate manager of L.E. Koenig", which was destroyed during fierce battles and the defense of the city of Trostyanets.
Unique fireplaces, oak stairs and literature from the scientific library were destroyed.
Under the scientific guidance of the architect Volodymyr Bykov, a survey was conducted and preliminary emergency measures to preserve the architectural monument were determined. The project is supported by Culture Emergency Respouse (CER).
