On October 12, 2024, a delegation from the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture visited the Memorial Museum of Architect Volodymyr Zabolotny in the city of Pereyaslav. Zabolotny was the first President of the Academy of Architecture of the Ukrainian SSR. The delegation included Oleg Slyeptsov, President of the UAA, Volodymyr Bykov, Chief Scientific Secretary of the UAA, and Nataliya Svitla, Director of the State Scientific Architectural and Construction Library named after V.G. Zabolotny.
The visit was graciously hosted by Andriy Kuzmenko, a researcher at the National Historical and Ethnographic Reserve "Pereyaslav". Despite challenging times, the museum continues to operate, offering tours, conducting educational activities, and sharing the life and work of this prominent architect, educator, and public figure. The event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture.
During the visit, a memorandum of cooperation was also signed between the UAA and the Reserve.
