ДО ДНЯ АРХІТЕКТУРИ УКРАЇНИ

TO THE DAY OF UKRAINIAN ARCHITECTURE

03 July 2025 | News |

A museum is a space where there is a corner for everyone.

On July 1, several generations of the architectural community gathered in the art space of the institution: students, teachers, and practicing architects were joined by academician of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture, Honored Architect of Ukraine, and two-time State Prize laureate in the field of architecture Volodymyr Bykov, as well as People’s Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Cherednychenko.

On this day, an exhibition was presented, which became a symbiosis of various forms of art: photography, icon painting, and fine art. The main focus of the display was on the sacred sites of the Sumy region, linked to the history and traditions of our land.

The central topic of the gathering was the role of architectural activity during wartime and in times of peace. The value of the architect lies not only in the development and realization of new projects but also in the restoration and revival of what has been lost.

The building of our museum is a vivid example of the city's architectural heritage and its preservation. The exhibition is the result of a synthesis of various art forms, museum practice, and architectural expertise.

We invite you to visit the museum!
