Among the wide range of events of the LvivUrbanForum, which took place in Lviv on June 28-30, 2023, were performances by famous architects of Ukraine and the world: Kis Christians, Shigeru Ban, Stefan Benish and others; various workshops on architecture and urban planning; speeches of the mayors of Lviv, Kyiv, Mariupol; representatives of the city administrations of Wolfsburg, Kyiv, Lviv; many, many other interesting events that took place both in the center of Lviv (June 28) and in the building of the FESTrepublic center (June 29-30), there was also a place for the participation of representatives of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture.
First of all, this is a report by an active member of the UAA, Professor B. Cherkes, director of the Institute of Architecture and Design of the Lviv Polytechnic, who addressed the organizers and participants of the Forum from the UAA and Lviv Polytechnic University with greetings, and also announced his topic "Challenges for the city of education during the war period" in the section "Education: how to educate the generation of personnel?" This greeting and report was clearly not lost not only among the other reports of the section by Andreas Hofer from Austria, Anton Lyagush from the USA, Oleh Drozdov and Iryna Chergenets from Ukraine, but also among all other messages of the Forum.
Causing an active discussion. In general, the Forum environment was created by no less than 700 organizers, participants and guests.
