A significant part of the working trip was the meeting between UAA President Oleg Sleptsov and His Beatitude Archbishop Georgios of Cyprus. The discussion centered on pressing issues related to the development of church construction for the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, including architectural and engineering aspects of designing new churches and restoring existing ones.
The parties also exchanged views on the role of sacred architecture in preserving national identity and cultural heritage. There was mutual readiness expressed for future cooperation in joint projects that unite the spiritual and architectural traditions of both nations.
