A historic event took place in the Duben Castle - yesterday, March 23, the creation of the Association of Nature Reserves of Ukraine was officially announced here. To do this, representatives of the reserves of Western Ukraine, as well as Oleg Sleptsov, the president of the Academy of Architecture, came to Dubna and signed the relevant documents.

Its members have a lot of expectations from the newly created Association, in particular Oleg Sleptsov, the president of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture, the person who designed 67 churches in Ukraine, noted that at the moment it is necessary to unite all the reserves of Ukraine in order to jointly solve their problems, including at the legislative level levels.

Yesterday, the documents on the establishment of the Association were signed by the heads of seven reserves of Ukraine from Volyn, Khmelnytskyi, Ternopil and Rivne regions, as well as the Rivne Museum of Local Lore. Several representatives from the northern regions of the country have already joined the Association. In this way, reserves count on strong support and work for a common result.

In total, there are 57 nature reserves in Ukraine, and all their problems have been accumulating for more than a dozen years. In particular, Nelya Kukovalska, general director of the Sofia Kyivska National Reserve, told about the intention to create such an association 5 years ago.
