On April 15.2024, at the Exhibition Center "Artistic Space" of the Kyiv National University of Technology and Design (KNUTD), a personal exhibition "Sketches from Travels" by full member of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture (UAA) and International Council on Monuments and Sites ICOMOS/UNESCO Vadym Abyzov, Doctor of Architecture, Professor, Honored architect of Ukraine, Head of the scientific school of environment design of the KNUTD was opened.
The works of art presented at the exhibition were created by the author in different periods and in different techniques during numerous travels and are one of the aspects of his long-term and diverse creative activity. The event was attended by many honored guests - friends and colleagues of Vadym Adilyovych - well-known architects and artists, famous scientists and public figures in the field of art, architecture and design, representatives of higher education institutions.
President of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture Oleg Sleptsov, professor, People's Architect of Ukraine, active members of the UAA, professors - Dean of the Faculty of Architecture of KNUBA Oleksandr Kashchenko, vice-president of the National Union of Architects of Ukraine Olena Oliinyk spoke with warm congratulations on the landmark event and celebration of the multifaceted personality of the author at the opening of the exhibition, as well as the well-known Polish artist Valdemara Kozub, a professor of Poland Świętokrzyskie Polytechnic
Such events are very useful and promising, as they provide an opportunity for artists and members of the UAA to present their works, share their thoughts and impressions, and prospects for further activities.
