In the first decade of October 2022, the first foreign official visit of the president of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture, Oleh Sleptsov, to Denmark took place. As part of the visit, a meeting was held at the City Hall with the mayor of the Vyborg commune, Ulrik VILBEK, and a memorandum on cooperation between UAA and the Vyborg community was signed.
In the city of Silkeborg, a creative meeting was held with the management of the leading Danish project company "SWECO", which has branches in fourteen countries of the world - Anders KERSGAARD and Carl Martin FREDERIKSEN, where the issue of restoration of the destroyed architectural monument in Kharkiv was discussed and a memorandum of cooperation was signed between UAA and "SWECO" for the joint design of destroyed Ukrainian objects. The meeting continued in the office of "Juske Bank" with the General Director of the Bank Anders Christian DAM, with whom the ways of financing the reconstruction of our country were discussed.
For the first time in the history of the Academy, a foreign representative office of the UAA was opened. Professor Serhiy Sviatchenko, an honorary member of the UAA, has been appointed the head of the Academy's representative office in the Kingdom of Denmark.
