On November 4, 2025, in Kyiv, the President of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture, Oleg Semenovych Sleptsov, received a Ukrainian Book of Records certificate for his outstanding contribution to the development of sacred architecture.
The award was given in the category “Quantity and Innovative Quality” for a record number of completed projects — 120 churches and temple complexes created in Ukraine and abroad.
This video presents the moment of the record’s official registration as well as footage showcasing the scale of the architect’s creative work. All these structures were designed based on unique authorial typological and architectural-artistic solutions that shape the modern style of Ukrainian sacred architecture.
The recognition from the Ukrainian Book of Records confirms Oleg Sleptsov’s significant contribution to the development of the national architectural school and the spiritual environment of the country.
