On January 27, 2022, a business meeting and signing of the Memorandum on cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture took place in the office of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
On behalf of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the Memorandum was signed by the President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Director of the Institute of Theoretical Physics named after M. M. Bogolyubov, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Anatoly Zagorodniy, and on the part of the Ukrainian Academy of Architecture, its President Oleg Sleptsov.
The meeting was attended by Vice President of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Serhiy Pirozhkov, First Deputy Chief Scientific Secretary of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Head of the Scientific and Organizational Department of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences Oleg Kupalskyi and Vice President of the UAA Mykola Dyomin.
The parties discussed topical issues of cooperation between the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the UAA, opportunities for establishing working contacts and interaction regarding the coordination of activities in the field of research in architecture and urban planning, development of architectural education, history of architecture, etc.
The participants of the meeting agreed to provide each other with information on issues of scientific and technical cooperation, to conduct joint scientific research in the field of architectural science, building structures and technologies, to prepare encyclopedic, theoretical and reference publications in the field of architecture.
Research institutes of the Section of Social and Humanitarian Sciences of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine may be involved in the implementation of joint projects with the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, in particular, the Institute of History of Ukraine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the M. T. Rylsky Institute of Art History, Folklore and Ethnology of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, other institutions.
